A touching story of an oppressed woman
A young man from Egypt. In his thirties. Bright fair complexion. A lean body structure. Solid body. Dark eyes twinkling with laughter. Strong personality impression in his face. There is no doubt that any young woman will be attracted to this young man at first sight.
After a few days, the young man got married. Wife's name is Maymuna. Age twenty two years. Looks pretty, beautiful. Maymuna's grace and beauty were not to be missed by any young man. Moreover, Maymuna's sharp mind, sharp eyes and manner of speech were enough to ensnare any handsome man.
Maymuna's husband's name is Salman. A dream he has been cherishing carefully in the heart of his heart for a long time. Without marriage, the realization of that dream was not possible at all. Her dream is that a beautiful boy will be born in her bosom. And he will name the son Ahmad. People will call him Ahmad's father.
days pass Months pass. Sweet moments of married life passed. One day Maymuna laughs. What does that smile indicate? Salman wants to know the reason. Maymuna says I feel like I have conceived your dream.
Salman was waiting for such news. His wife's words touched his heart with a layer of eternal peace. Happiness in both eyes. The face is bright with laughter.
Wife is pregnant. There can be no better news for Salman than this. Salman did not even have time to think about whether the child in the womb could be a boy or a girl. In addition, he began to advertise himself as Abu Ahmad or Ahmad's father everywhere, at home and outside, among friends. As a result, within a few days, he became known as Abu Ahmad everywhere.
A few months later, Maymuna gave birth to a full-grown baby. But the child is not a boy, but a girl. Salman was disappointed by this but remained satisfied with Allah's decision. And Abu Ahmad continued the name in the hope that the next child would be a boy.
At the end of the second year, another child was born. Salman was eagerly waiting for a baby boy. But even this time his hope was not fulfilled. After the child was born, it was found that it was a girl, not a boy.
Salman was very unhappy with his wife after giving birth to two daughters in a row. He said, you crushed all my hopes and aspirations. If you dust my dream come true. In this way, he started scolding his wife by saying different kinds of words.
Maymuna was an educated girl in religious education. He knew very well that the wife had no hand in whether the child was a boy or a girl. Like the husband has no hands. It completely depends on the will and intention of Almighty Allah.
Maymuna was not only possessed of Islamic knowledge, but also intellectual. So when Swami was reprimanding her in various languages in anger, she did not reply a single word. He endured everything in silence.
Later, when the husband's anger was gone, he took an opportunity and said, Look, the birth of a son depends on the wisdom and will of God. Husband and wife do not have the slightest role here. Moreover, just as a son is a child of his parents, a daughter is also a child of her parents. In addition, the Holy Quran and Hadith describe more virtues of daughters than sons.
For example:-(1) In a hadith, the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, the proof that a woman is lucky is that her first child is a girl. This is because Allah Ta'ala says, "He gives a daughter to whom He wills, and a son to whom He wills." In this verse, Allah has given priority to the daughter before the son.
(2) Hazrat Ibn Abbas (RA) said, The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, "Whoever has a daughter born in his house, then he does not trouble her, nor is he displeased with her, and does not give priority to his son over her, then Allah will 'Allah will admit him to Paradise. (Musnad Ahmad 1:223)
(3) On the authority of Hazrat Abu Huraira (R.A.), the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, "Surely, God loves the father of those children who persevere in the hope of reward (despite having many daughters). (Qanjul Ummal 16:450)
(4) Hazrat Uqba Ibn Amer (R.A.) said, I heard the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, say, He who had three daughters, then he bore the burden of raising them and provided food and clothing for them according to his ability, on the Day of Resurrection those daughters For him, there will be hindrances and obstacles on the way to hell. (Ibn Majah: 261)
5. Hazrat Ali (RA) narrates that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said that a daughter is the best child. Because they are humble, soft-spoken, servants of parents, loving and blessed. (Firdaus 4:255)
6. In another hadith narrated by Hazrat Anas (R.A.) in Muslim Sharif, the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, "Whoever nurtures two daughters until they reach adulthood, he will be in such a state on the Day of Resurrection that he and I will be like that." With this he pointed his fingers together.
7. In another hadith narrated by Hazrat Anas (R.A.), the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, When a woman gives birth to a daughter, Allah sends an angel to her.
The said angel came fast to the world with blessings and said, from one weak (woman) another weak (woman) was born. The person who takes care of this weak person will be helped till the Day of Judgment. (Qanjul Ummal 16:450)
Salman listened attentively to the holy hadiths emanating from his wife. The result was that the anger and anger he had towards Maimuna, all the anger and outrage he had, became cold like water. As a result, he started loving Maymuna as before.
Then Maymuna's third child was also born as a daughter. This angered Salman again. Hitahita lost consciousness. Forgotten the virtuous words of the hadith about daughters. As a result, what came out of his mouth, targeting Maymuna, he said casually.
In fact, Allah Ta'ala wanted to teach the whole world through this incident of Salman-Maymuna. So it can be seen that after Maymuna's 4th, 5th and 6th children were also born as girls. As a result, Salman got burnt in oil. Holds the Agnimurti.
Salman, who once understood nothing except his wife, who loved his wife deeply, who always kept her with love, is the Salman who made Maymuna suffer in agony. A steam roller of torture and brutality rolled over a helpless woman. Not only that, he also said that if you give birth to a daughter after that, I will divorce you and kick you out of the house.
Maymuna is now helpless. Helpless She tried different ways to convince her husband. But nothing happened. His words of consolation calmed Salman's anger for a while, but soon it flared up again. As a result, abuse, torture and cruelty started again.
Maymuna, the mountain of patience, is becoming helpless and is suffering all these sufferings of her husband. Not protesting. Only at the end of the night did the Tahajjud prayer, raising both hands and crying, saying, "O ocean of kindness!" You have shown countless mercies to this prisoner. It is not possible for me to live even a moment without your mercy and grace. O mighty God! You have fulfilled all my hopes.
Now fulfill my last wish. Free me from the tyranny of my husband. Maybe a son gives children; Or in some other way. I just want to be freed from my husband's abuse and scolding. I want freedom from his oppression. You know best how you will deliver, how you will fulfill the last hope of my life.
After praying like this for some time, God responded to Maimuna's call. He accepted his prayer. But not through the gift of sons, but in other ways' by the infinite trick of nature.
One night Salman is sleeping. Suddenly he dreams - Doomsday is established. The trial is being held at Hashar Maidan. One by one each person is standing before God in judgment. Allah is hearing the verdict. For some, the place of great joy is Paradise.
And for some, the place of painful punishment is the judgment of Hell. While going like this, one time Salman's call came. He stood on the gallows. Almighty Allah gave judgment about him. He said, throw him in hell.
Angels were waiting to be ordered. As soon as the words of Faisal came to an end from the mouth of Allah, they dragged Salman and carried him through the burning fire of hell.
As they continued walking, they went to the first gate of hell and saw Salman's first daughter standing there. He addresses the angels and says, You cannot cast my father into hell. He nurtured me, gave me good education, brought me up with love and affection.
Angels left from there on the words of the girl. Then he appeared in front of the second gate of hell with Salman. It was seen that the second girl had already gone there and was standing as a barrier.
She is repeating the same words that the first girl was saying. As a result, the angels could not throw Salman into hell even through that door.
Then they reached the third, fourth, fifth and sixth gates of hell with him. But even there their purpose was not successful due to the interference of 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th girls.
Finally the angels reached the seventh gate of hell with Salman. But as there was no barrier, the angels pushed Salman through the door and pushed him towards the hellfire. Salman wakes up screaming fire fire in his sleep.
His scream was so loud that all the people in the house woke up. Even people around the house thought that the house was on fire and ran and gathered.
At last when the people saw that there was no sign of fire anywhere in the house, Salman had screamed like this after seeing the nightmare, then they all went their separate ways. The girls are also sleeping in each other's bed.
Meanwhile, Salman's eyes did not get sleep again. He tried hard but could not bring his eyes together. Finally went to Maymuna and hugged her and cried, dear! Your seventh child should also be born a girl.
The wife was surprised by her husband's words. He said, why? What happened? How much you scolded me for having a son, how much oppression, how much beating you did, now what happened again, you are asking for a daughter without talking about a son.
On his wife's words, Salman pulled her closer. Then he narrated to him the whole incident seen in the dream. Then he said, Maymuna! I have wronged you a lot without realizing it. Tortured. I am the ultimate criminal. Please forgive me.
Maymuna said, I knew you were doing this in the blind hope of getting a son. I believed, one day you will break this mistake. I have shed many tears for this. I prayed to God in plain words.
Thank God that He has accepted the prayers of a lowly prisoner like me. He brought you back to the right path through dreams. Now you understand the value of a daughter? Did you see, what is the use of a daughter?
Salman said, yes I understand, I saw. I am also thanking Almighty God for breaking my mistake.
Dear reader! We can take the lesson from the mentioned events and narrated hadiths that one should not be unhappy or displeased at all when a girl child is born.
Rather, it is the duty of every believer to be happy considering a daughter child as a special means of obtaining virtues from Almighty God. And it is never appropriate to differentiate between boys and girls, adopting a two-eyed policy.
It is advisable to take more care of a daughter than a son in the hope of gaining the numerous honors and blessings mentioned in the hadith. O Allah! You give us all the right understanding. amen
